Hello, my name is Louis San Miguel. I’m a mycologist from San Antonio and I’ve been teaching people how to become successful mushroom cultivators in the Central Texas area since 2016. My primary mission is to teach skills that deepen our connections to nature and sharing tools for developing self reliance.

I initially started Mycobuddy to share my mushroom cultivation knowledge and techniques with more people. However, nature has made it clear to me that I’m to share much more than just mycology.

Each of our relationships to nature is sacred. I’m to honor mine by sharing some of the lessons, insights, observations, and oddities that I’ve experienced during my journey into the natural and other worlds. I hope what I share with you support your journey in some way.

My ultimate goal is to grow medicine for my fellow Veterans so they have tools to aid them on their healing journey’s. I hope to work with you as I architect this vision and support you in the building of yours.
